Introduction

GoFunnel ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, process, and safeguard information when individuals use our websites, web application, Chrome extension, tracking scripts, messaging services, integrations, artificial-intelligence features, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Our Role

GoFunnel may process personal information in different capacities depending on the context.

Controller

GoFunnel generally acts as a controller for information relating directly to GoFunnel customers and account administrators, such as:

  • account information;
  • billing information;
  • login and security information;

  • prospects;
  • customers;
  • form submissions;
  • call recordings;
  • call transcripts;
  • payments;
  • website events;
  • communications;
  • SMS and MMS records; and
  • other customer-controlled information.

Our customers are responsible for determining the purposes and legal basis for their collection and use of that information.

Our processing on behalf of customers may also be governed by a Data Processing Agreement, available by contacting support@gofunnel.ai.

Our customers are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for sending communications and for complying with applicable messaging and telemarketing laws.

Payment and Order Data

Through integrations with platforms such as Shopify, Stripe, ThriveCart, ClickFunnels, Whop, Fanbasis, and similar services, GoFunnel may receive transaction information on behalf of the connected merchant.

This may include:

  • transaction amount;
  • currency;
  • product;
  • customer name;
  • email;
  • telephone number; and
  • transaction identifier.

GoFunnel does not intentionally receive or store complete payment-card numbers through these integrations.

  • call recordings;
  • transcripts;
  • participant information;
  • timestamps;
  • duration; and
  • related call metadata.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any consent required under recording, wiretap, privacy, employment, or similar laws.

Tracking and Attribution Data

  • first-party identifiers such as gf_sid;
  • page views;
  • click events;
  • form interactions;
  • video engagement;
  • referrer URLs;
  • UTM parameters;
  • IP addresses; and
  • device and browser information.

This information may be associated with a customer's workspace to provide attribution, lead, conversion, and analytics functionality.

Connected Service Data

When you connect a third-party service, GoFunnel may store authentication credentials, OAuth tokens, or API keys securely and access data required for the features you enable.

Usage Data

We may collect information regarding use of the Services, including:

  • browser type;
  • device information;
  • IP address;
  • access times;
  • pages viewed;
  • feature usage;
  • workspace identifiers;
  • account identifiers; and
  • security events.

We may use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics as described below.

Inside the logged-in application, Clarity is configured to mask on-screen text and images and remove web-address parameters.

Inside the logged-in application, Google Analytics may receive pseudonymous account and workspace identifiers, role and workspace settings, sanitized page paths, and feature-usage events.

GoFunnel does not intentionally provide Google Analytics with names, email addresses, or customer lead data from the logged-in application.

As described in our existing implementation, these analytics services are not loaded for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Quebec, or for browsers sending a Global Privacy Control signal where our implementation recognizes that signal.

AI and Automated Processing

GoFunnel uses artificial intelligence and machine-learning technologies to provide product features.

AI processing may include:

  • generating call summaries;
  • generating coaching insights;
  • classifying leads, calls, or events;
  • scoring or analyzing interactions;
  • mapping fields;
  • suggesting integration configurations;
  • generating or assisting with communications;
  • summarizing information;
  • extracting structured data; and
  • powering automated workflows.

GoFunnel currently uses third-party large-language-model providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini for applicable AI functionality.

Content submitted to these providers is processed under applicable business, enterprise, or API arrangements.

GoFunnel does not sell customer content to these providers for advertising.

Certain data received through Google Workspace APIs is subject to additional restrictions described below.

Google Workspace API Data — Limited Use

GoFunnel's Google Meet integration uses read-only Google Workspace scopes for meetings organized by a customer's team.

These may include:

  • meetings.space.readonly;
  • calendar.events.owned.readonly.

After an applicable meeting ends, GoFunnel may read the conference record and participant information and match the meeting with the organizer's calendar event to determine attendance and invitee information.

This is used to determine whether a scheduled sales call occurred and who attended so that applicable records can be marked completed or no-show.

GoFunnel does not use these scopes to access meeting media, recordings, or transcripts.

GoFunnel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

Raw or derived user data obtained from Google Workspace APIs through these restricted scopes is not sent to general artificial-intelligence or machine-learning providers.

GoFunnel's product architecture restricts AI assistants from querying this Google Meet attendance data and strips such data where applicable before information is transmitted to a language model.

Such Google Workspace API data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or foundation artificial-intelligence models and is not sold or transferred for advertising.

YouTube API Services and Google Ads

GoFunnel uses YouTube API Services.

By connecting a YouTube channel to GoFunnel, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Where enabled, GoFunnel may request scopes including:

youtube.force-ssl

Used to:

  • list videos uploaded to a connected channel;
  • read titles;
  • read descriptions;
  • read public statistics;
  • and, when instructed by the customer, add a Smart Link to a selected video's description.

GoFunnel does not use this integration to delete videos, comments, ratings, or captions.

adwords

Used to:

  • identify Google Ads accounts accessible to the customer;
  • identify conversion actions; and
  • create a conversion action when requested by the customer.

datamanager

Used to transmit configured conversion events, including hashed customer identifiers where applicable, to a customer's Google Ads account.

This information is used to provide analytics, attribution, Smart Links, and configured conversion reporting.

Access tokens are stored using appropriate safeguards.

GoFunnel does not sell this data or use it to train generalized AI models.

Customers can disconnect applicable integrations through GoFunnel settings or applicable provider settings.

When an integration is disconnected, GoFunnel will remove access credentials in accordance with the functionality of the applicable integration and may retain previously processed information according to this Privacy Policy, applicable law, and customer instructions.

Chrome Extension

The GoFunnel Chrome extension may process:

  • authentication tokens;
  • form responses submitted through the extension; and
  • page context on authorized GoFunnel domains required for extension functionality.

Authentication information is used to maintain and verify the user's session.

Form responses are transmitted to GoFunnel systems where necessary to provide the requested functionality.

The extension does not use collected data for third-party advertising.
